Some practices I’ve been relying on are time in nature and with animals and of course Yoga and Meditation. Also, being okay with letting go. Recently we moved to a new town where our Yoga Ranch is planting its roots. So many times I thought, “Ah, nevermind, this is too much. Too much work, too much effort, too much of a leap into the unknown.” But on the other side of that the blessings and rewards outweigh that which I was resisting. I’ve found that as I plant my roots firmly into this land (where I’ve lived before) it feels okay to shake up the tree. It feels good to let fruit drop and plant new seeds. I feel greatness in letting go of the resistance.
So, how can we find balance during these changes? Be okay with time taking care of yourself. Be okay with letting old habits and people (maybe even temporarily). Spend time in prayer or meditation finding that quiet space within (after sitting through all the disturbing crap). Take the opportunity to step away and listen to your own inner guidance. Know that it is important to find the blessings in letting go.
